FLASHBACK: The Great Southwest Road Trip of 2009

Back in the fall of 2009, Ricki, Ted, their dog Annabelle, Erich and I went on this amazing road trip through the Southwest. I've since lost all of the photos. However, at that time, I was really into video at the time and I made videos of EVERYTHING...including this trip. So, if you'd care to take a trip to the Southwest---including the lights of Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon (from the North Rim), Taos, Santa Fe, and sites along old Route 66, buckle up and let the videos begin. (Some are better than others. Some are pretty sucky. You've been warned.)

Part 1: The beginning--meet the gang and off we go. From Clovis to the glamorous pit that is the Motel 6 in Las Vegas... Ha! Visit the Roman Forum and see the "volcano" and water show at Treasure Island and MORE!

Part 2: Las Vegas to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon---and YOU are there.

Part 3: The amazing Vermillion Cliffs, strange rock houses, the Navajo Bridge, Monument Valley, and MORE!

Part 4: Our arrival in Taos, New Mexico...and the arrival of our friends Barb & Norm.

Part 5:  A day in Taos, New Mexico--a great time.

Part 6; A visit to Santa Fe -- including the Lorreto Chapel with the "Miracle Staircase".

Part 7: Mission San Francisco de Asis in the old Ranchos de Taos and the amazing Taos Pueblo...and so much MORE!

Part 8: From Taos down to Holbrook, Arizona...with old Route 66 and many of its attractions along the way. See The Painted Desert, the Petrified Forest, and stay in the teepee-shaped rooms at the Wigwam Motel.

Part 9: Farewell to the WigWam Motel, more amazing Route 66 attractions, a secret cemetery, and Laughlin, Nevada along the Colorado River.

Part 10: The CONCLUSION: From Laughlin back to Clovis, California...and there is ol' Boo waiting for us (just a few weeks before he died).

Did you make it through? Ha! (I'm guessing NOT). Cheers!
